    • Operates a variety of ionizing radiation producing equipment to ensure
      effective, accurate and timely delivery of quality patient care.

      • Required: Associate degree or equivalent

      • Required: Allied Health or RadiologicTechnology
      • Preferred: Business, Allied Health orRadiologic Technology
    • Experience
      • Required: Two to three years
      • Preferred: Three to five years
    • Skills
      • Required: Rad tech skill set; CT tech skill set.
      • Preferred: Rad tech skill set; advanced CT tech skill set.
    • Licensure/Certifications
      • Required: ARRT(R)/MRT
      • Preferred: ARRT(R) (CT)/MRT
      • Utilizes innovative customer service
        techniques to provide a positive patient care experience for the patient and
        their family. Acts professionally in all dealings with internal and external
        customers to promote a working environment that focuses on the patient
      • Perform complex specialized tasks
        associated with the operation of x-ray and CT scanners and their related
        equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation safety procedures. Position
        patients for appropriate procedure using immobilization and protective equipment
        as necessary.
      • Assist physician with interventional
        imaging procedures, starting IV's, and injecting contrast, if applicable.
      • Establishes and maintains lines of
        communication with all other staff members and Radiologist to insure an
        effective and harmonious working environment.
      • Communicates effectively with patients and
        their families about the procedure to be performed in order to obtain
        information and to offer reassurance.
      • Performs other appropriate duties as
        required in a competent, professional and courteous manner.
    • OTHER
      • Performs other duties as assigned to meet
        the organization s needs.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
